Keeseville to add new chemical to water

KEESEVILLE — The Village of Keeseville Water Department will be adding a new chemical to help reduce scaling and iron buildup in the water distribution system.

During this time, the water may be temporarily discolored or have a milky white tint, a village press release said.

“It is recommended that users should run their water until clear before use.”

Peru School Board is holding special session

PERU — The Peru Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, in the Junior/Senior High School Community Room. 

The board is expected to immediately proceed into executive session for the purpose of discussing the employment history of particular individuals.

Meetings are open to the public.
