Driver extricated after car crash

PLATTSBURGH — A black Subaru Outback crashed on Margaret Street this morning, and firefighters used extrication equipment to get to the driver.

The car was slewed against the curbing near Lee Customs Homes II. Margaret Street was closed to traffic between Riley and Boynton avenues for a time as rescuers pried pieces off the vehicle to get to the driver.

The person was not injured.
