Honor received

PLATTSBURGH — Roger Wright of Plattsburgh, an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates, has earned membership in the company's International Diamond Society, a level achieved by only the top 8 percent of all sales associates/representatives worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system.

Appointment announced

PLATTSBURGH — Allen J. Racine Jr. has been appointed vice president and Northern Region corporate banking manager at Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co.

In this capacity, he will have responsibility for development and review of all business lending in Clinton and Essex counties.

Racine joined the bank in 2005 as an assistant vice president in the Corporate Banking Dept. and was promoted to vice president in 2008. Prior to joining Glens Falls National, he served as a loan officer with First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA.

He is a native of Champlain and a graduate of Northeastern Clinton Central School, the State University of New York at Cobleskill and Cornell University.

A resident of Mooers Forks, he serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and is a member of the Champlain-Rouses Point Rotary Club.

Award received

PLATTSBURGH — Dr. Barry W. Mack, director of CV-TEC, part of Champlain Valley Educational Services in Plattsburgh, has been selected as the recipient for the 2012 Leadership and Support Award by the School Administrators Association of New York State.
