Police seek help identifying alleged thief

MALONE — State Police are asking for help from the public identifying a woman caught by a surveillance camera at Carla's Greenery in Malone.

The suspect, police said in a press release, entered the property at about 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 when the shop at 5 Cosgrove Road was closed, stealing about $500 worth of plants from the outdoor greenery.

She then left in a maroon four-door car, unknown make or model, heading north on State Route 30, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Malone at 483-5000.
