Water shut-off set for today in Saranac Lake

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Public Works Department will be shutting the water off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today on all of Payeville Road in order to make water main and hydrant repairs. 

As well, Main Street between Church and Pine streets will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Monday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 25, to replace a water main. 

The road will be reopened to one-way traffic only, entering from Church Street going towards Pine Street during all non-working hours.

Moriah School Boardvotes on BOCES seat

MORIAH — The Moriah Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. today to vote on the BOCES Board seat vacancy. 

 The meeting, open to the public, will be held in the Central Office Board Room.
