Job Fair today at Plattsburgh mall 

PLATTSBURGH — Champlain Centre mall is hosting a Job Fair today.

Numerous mall tenants have tables set up outside their stores with applications for job seekers to fill out. Stores will be hiring for full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. 

Participating tenants include: Mastercuts, Old Navy, Target, Hannoush Jewelers, Pacsun, Deb Shops, Crazy 8, Kay Jewelers, Sunglass Hut, Spencer Gifts, Hallmark, Bath & Body Works, Maurices, The Children’s Place, Hollister, Christopher & Banks, and C.J. Banks.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet employers who are hiring, establish contacts through networking, identify career and seasonal employment opportunities and/or complete job applications. 

This is a free event, and there will be no registration required for job seekers. It is recommended that they come with extra copies of their resume and dress professionally.

Moriah School Board to review financial reports

MORIAH — The Moriah Central School District will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the High School library. 

Agenda items include a review of financial reports, personnel discussions and review of policies.

Chateaugay Board to discuss rink, greenhouse

CHATEAUGAY — Chateaugay Central School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the school.

The agenda includes discussion of an internal audit report, annual ski trip, fire inspection report, Town of Chateaugau ice rink proposal, greenhouse proposal and the capital project.

An executive session will be called to discuss contract negotiations and the employment history of specific individuals.

SLCS to consider calendar for next district budget

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Central School Board will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Petrova Library.

Agenda items include a review of the 2012-13 grade three through eight assessments and the presentation and possible adoption of the 2014-2015 district budget calendar. The meeting is open to the public.
