---- — CHAMPLAIN — More than 300 New York State Electric and Gas customers in Champlain lost power for a short time Thursday afternoon.
As well, according to the NYSG website, electricity to 113 in Chazy and 39 users in Rouses Point was cut off.
Most of the locations in Champlain were on Route 9B, with 102, the site said, and 40 of a total 47 customers on Mason Road, all 51 customers on Point au Fer, and numerous others on roads mostly branching off Route 9B.
Most outages in Chazy were on the Lake Shore Road, with 53; 29 customers on Stetson Road had no power, with other outages in that area.
On Lake Street in Rouses Point, electricity was off at 17 locations, with 13 on Stony Point Road and a few other spots.
No one could be reached Thursday at NYSEG for more information on what caused the outage.
