Tax-Aide program delayed due to fiscal-cliff issues

Because of delays connected with the fiscal-cliff, the Internal Revenue Service is not yet able to accept submissions, according to local Tax-Aide Coordinator Kaye Curry. The program, which sets up at the Clinton County Senior Citizens Center, 5139 North Catherine St., Plattsburgh, had been due to open Jan. 22.

“Our start date is now (Jan.) 28th or 30th,” she said.
