12 jurors picked for Donah trial; alternates needed

PLATTSBURGH — As of Monday afternoon, a dozen jurors had been selected for New York State Police Trooper Trevor J. Donah’s second trial.

This morning, questioning by the prosecution and defense was slated to continue to select alternates.

Donah, 33, of Plattsburgh, faces charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, both felonies, and five misdemeanors: two counts of third-degree assault, two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and one charge of second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

He was found not guilty of first-degree attempted rape, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree assault in a trial in November 2013 involving a former girlfriend.
