Family Dollar gets OK for AuSable Forks


But the town will be granted a utility right-of-way, he said, and before the paving is set to start, will likely change out the 4-inch main there now with a 6-inch line to keep up with the water-pressure needs of fire trucks and to ensure good service in that area.

Nolan said the M&M property was surveyed last week; he didn’t know when work would begin but was hopeful it would be soon.

“If we have another (mild) winter like last winter,” he said, “it will be all right.”
