Two injured in accident on Route 3 in Saranac

SARANAC — Two were injured in a two-car crash on Route 3 just west of Cadyville at about 11:15 a.m. today.

A badly smashed blue car came to rest on the north side of the road; and, said State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jen Fleishman, a second car was involved as well.

One person from each car was taken to CVPH Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition this afternoon, she said.

Motorists stopped to help after the crash, some directing traffic while awaiting the arrival of fire and ambulance crews and State Police.

The names and other details of the crash were not yet available.
