Saranac Lake School Board meeting coming up

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Central School Board will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the Petrova Library.

The agenda includes discussion of the superintendent search, including composition of committee for first reading of applications.

Board meetings are open to the public.

South Plattsburgh Fire District sets annual meeting

SOUTH PLATTSBURGH — The organizational meeting for the South Plattsburgh Fire District of the towns of Plattsburgh and Schuyler Falls will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at Fire Station 1, 4105 Route 22, Plattsburgh.

The Board of Fire Commissioners will meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Fire Station.

CHAMPLAIN — The Northeastern Clinton Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Middle/High School Library.

The agenda includes a presentation by Champlain Valley Educational Services students, personnel appointments, resignations and capital-project payments.

The meeting is open to all.

Saranac School Board to meet on Wednesday

DANNEMORA — The Saranac Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at the District Office in Dannemora.

Agenda items include financial reports, a budget status report and the employment of particular people. A complete agenda is available at the District Office and on the website www.saranac.org.

The meeting is open to the public.

Dannemora Council sets organizational meeting

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Town Council’s organizational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the Town Hall.

The meeting is open to the public.

AuSable Forks Fire District meeting coming up

AUSABLE FORKS — The AuSable Forks Fire District will hold its annual reorganizational meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Fire Station.

The meeting is open to all.
