4-H members, volunteers sought in Clinton County

BEEKMANTOWN — A 4-H Family Welcome event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Beekmantown Town Hall.

This event is for those involved in a 4-H Club in Clinton County and for those thinking about joining.

Four-H Clubs promote positive youth development by meeting the four basic needs of youth: head (independence), heart (belonging) hands (generosity) and hands (mastery). Positive experience in 4-H clubs can strengthen young people’s leadership and life skills and teach the importance of community service.
