AuSABLE FORKS — The Tahawus Center for Learning in Au Sable Forks has thanked its local partners for support for the activities planned for the TLC Discovery Program this summer. Support comes from Community Bank, Feeks Pharmacy, HoneyBee Community Fund, the Newton Family Fund, Stewarts Shops and the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature administered by the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts.

The facility is transforming a historic building into a new place of commerce and cultural and education activities.

This summer, area residents and visitors, youth to seniors, can explore a variety of activities including swing dance, ballet barre craft workshops, science labs and a new program “Leap into Listening.” Details on each offering are available on the TLC website or by telephone: 646-734-7151. Some scholarship aid is available for workshop participation. All classes are subject to enrollment.
