Quartet to perform at Strand on Saturday

PLATTSBURGH — Quartetto Gelato will perform a program of classical, operatic and folk works at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Strand Theatre, 25 Brinkerhoff St.

The concert concludes the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts' 2013 Spring Performance Series. The ensemble's repertoire spans the globe and includes classical masterworks, operatic arias, the sizzling energy of tangos, and gypsy and folk songs.

A story in Thursday's Press-Republican had inadvertently said the show would take place Friday, rather than Saturday.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, $40 for priority seating ($30 for NCCCA members), and $10 for students. They can be purchased at the NCCCA, the Lake Placid Center for the Arts or online at www.plattsburgharts.org.
