2 Saranac School Board seatsup for vote

SARANAC — The Saranac Central School District will have two School Board seats up in the May 20 election.

The five-year terms begin on July 1 and are presently held by Robert Brooks and Michael Rascoe.

Petitions are available in the District Office and can be picked up there between 8 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, by going to or by calling 565-5612 and requesting that a petition be mailed to you.

Petitions will be accepted until 5 p.m. Monday, April 21.


Deadline set for Plattsburgh vote registration

PLATTSBURGH — Those who want to register to vote for the Plattsburgh City School District election can do so through the Clinton County Board of Elections.

The deadline for registration is no later than 5 p.m. May 6.

The register will be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the School District at 49 Broad St. and will be open for inspection to any qualified voter of the district from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays beginning on May 7 and at the polling places on the day of the vote, May 20.
