Chazy Hydrant flushing scheduled for April 14, 15, 16

CHAZY — The Chazy Water District will be flushing hydrants from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 14, 15 and 16. 

Residents may find reduced water pressure and discoloration of water during this time.

Tupper Lake sets hearing on village budget

TUPPER LAKE — The Tupper Lake Village Board will hold a public hearing on its tentative budget for 2014-15 at 7 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the board room at the Municipal Office Building, 53 Park St.

The proposed salaries of board members are: $9,200 for the mayor and $4,800 each for the four trustees.

The budget can be examined from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Village Clerk’s Office.

Ski at Whiteface through April 20

WILMINGTON — With more than 85 percent of trails still open for skiing and riding, Whiteface Mountain will continue operations through Sunday, April 20. 

Some services may be limited so skiers and boarders are asked to check the mountain’s daily anticipated conditions report for details. 

Lift ticket prices until the end of the season are $60 for adults, $50 for teens and $40 for juniors. As always, skiers and riders 6 and younger are free.
