Atlantic City flights to launch in Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH — A new nonstop charter service between Plattsburgh International Airport and Atlantic City International Airport will debut April 23.

Plans by Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City call for its Total Rewards Airlines to offer monthly flights through August.

According to the Total Rewards Airlines website, the first flight will return to Plattsburgh on April 26. A second flight is tentatively scheduled to depart Plattsburgh on May 10 and return May 12.

NEW DESTINATION

North Country Chamber of Commerce President Garry Douglas welcomes the newest partner for Plattsburgh International Airport.

“Montrealers, New Yorkers and Vermonters are already enjoying our flights to many other fun destinations, and now they have a great way to enjoy Caesar’s World and all of the other attractions of Atlantic City,” he said in a press release.

Scott Barber, regional president of Caesars Entertainment’s Mid-South Division, said the company looks to align itself with partners such as Plattsburgh International Airport to succeed in a extremely competitive marketplace.

“It is our end-all-be-all goal to elevate the guest’s experience in our ‘customer first’ industry, so it is with that ideal in mind that we set forth and offer the general public flights to and from a coastal destination as magnificent as Atlantic City,” he said in a statement.

Total Rewards Airlines flights are operated on Caesars Entertainment’s behalf by Republic Airways and feature 100-seat E-190 aircraft.
