Willsboro School Board to review budget

WILLSBORO — The Willsboro Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in the school Conference Room.

Agenda items include budget review and personnel.

All meetings are open to the public.

Foster parents needed in Clinton County

PLATTSBURGH — There continues to be a need for foster parents in Clinton County, officials say, with more and more adolescents, children and their families in need of support.

An orientation and informational meeting for prospective foster/adoptive and respite parents is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Clinton County Department of Social Services, 13 Durkee Street.

All are welcome, and there is no commitment, a press release said.

As well, Clinton County Department of Social Services Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting training for prospective foster/adoptive and respite parents is scheduled to start Tuesday, April 22.

Town of Dannemora office hours to change for next week

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Town Offices at the Town Municipal Building, 78 Higby Road in Chazy Lake, will be closed Tuesday, April 8. 

The Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office will be the only office open on Wednesday, April 9. All offices will resume normal operating hours on Thursday, April 10.

SLCS Board to discuss personnel, budget

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Central School Board will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Petrova Library.

Agenda items include personnel, student placements and a budget discussion.

The meeting is open to the public.
