Malone man sentenced for rape

MALONE — A Malone man was sentenced Monday in Franklin County Court to four years in state prison for third-degree rape involving a 16-year-old girl.

Jason J. Davis, 34, of Spaulding Avenue was indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree rape, third-degree rape, forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, stemming from an incident May 15, 2012.

He pleaded guilty to the lesser rape count.

Judge Robert G. Main Jr. also sentenced him to one year in County Jail on the forcible-touching and endangerment charges.
