Rotary Radio Day fundraiser planned


Last year, the club completed the Community Pavilion at Wilcox Dock and donated materials and labor to build the welcome sign at the Clinton County Airport and the gazebo at the Riverwalk in downtown Plattsburgh.

The Noon Rotary Club recently finished construction of a pavilion at Rotary Centennial Park on the Old Base and has committed $50,000 toward the Strand Theatre restoration project.

The two clubs have also provided funding to stamp out polio worldwide, establish an eye-care clinic in India, construct latrines in poverty-stricken Nicaragua and sponsor international water projects and the Shelter Box project.
