NCCS appoints superintendent

(Continued)

Grenville was one of three to return for a second-round interview with the board and a stakeholder group comprising parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and other members of the school community.

Following those interviews, Boumil noted, the board gathered feedback from the stakeholder group before unanimously selecting Grenville as the district’s next superintendent.

“She is a well-rounded person with great leadership qualities, motivation and enthusiasm,” the board president said. “Also, Mrs. Grenville is very community oriented.

“We feel she will be a great addition to Northeastern Clinton Central.”

MOVING FROM MALONE

Grenville currently lives in Malone with her husband, Steven, and their youngest daughter, Sigourney, who will graduate from Franklin Academy this year and plans to attend Albany College of Pharmacy.

“We are starting our search for a new home (in the NCCS District) this coming weekend,” Lisa said.

Her immediate family also comprises her oldest daughter, Cecilia, and fiancé Chad Covey; her 4-year-old grandson, Pal; three Bengal cats; and a Yorkie-poo.

In addition to spending time with her family, she said, “I love to read, exercise and play with my exotic cats.”
