Horace Nye Nursing Home closing delayed
ELIZABETHTOWN — The closing date for Horace Nye Nursing Home has been pushed back until at least next week.
That final step for Essex County to sell the facility to Centers for Specialty Care had been slated for Friday.
“The short delay is to address a few loose ends relative to the septic system,” county attorney Daniel T. Manning said in a statement Friday.
“It is anticipated that the sale will be finalized the week of Feb. 3.”
