Part of Clinton Mills Road to be closed Thursday

CLINTON — The Clinton County highway superintendent is advising area residents that a portion of the Clinton Mills Road in the Town of Clinton will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The closure will allow crews to replace a cross culvert between the LaFrancis Road and Railroad Street, just west of the Town of Clinton Convenience Station.

Every effort will be made to expedite the work and re-open the road at the earliest possible time, according to a news release.

 

Parking ban in effect in the Village of Dannemora

DANNEMORA — Residents of the Village of Dannemora are reminded that the overnight parking ban, which began Nov. 1, is in effect until April 30, 2013.

Any vehicle found parked on the village streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. will receive a $50 parking ticket.

Parking ban in place in Village of Champlain

CHAMPLAIN — A parking ban in on in Champlain through April 1, 2013.

The ban, which started Nov. 1, covers the time period of 2 a.m. to 6 p.m.
