Plattsburgh man charged in Ti burglary

TICONDEROGA — A Plattsburgh man was arrested in connection with a 2013 burglary of a local market.

Jason E. Fish, 29, broke in to the Corner Discount Market on the Portage in Ticonderoga on Oct. 10, 2013, according to a news release from the Town of Ticonderoga Police Department.

Fish stole more than $3,000 in cash and merchandise, police said.

He was charged Thursday with third-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief, all felonies.

Fish was arraigned before Town Justice James O’Bryan in Ticonderoga Town Court and was released on his own recognizance.

Investigator Daniel LaFrance and Patrolman Adam Hurlburt of the Ticonderoga Police Department conducted the investigation with assistance from the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services Fingerprint Lab.
