The capital stock of the High Falls Pulp and Paper Co. of Chateaugay is increased from $50,000 to $250,000.

A number of well-known businessmen in Clinton County have become interested in the invention of L.J. Aldredge of Plattsburgh and have incorporated the Aldredge Roller Bearing Manufacturing Co. The new company is incorporated for $200,000.

Most of the streets of Plattsburgh are in darkness because the Light, Heat and Power Co. could not get power to generate sufficient electricity. The water in the river is unusually low due to lack of rain.

A contract for laying new water mains, putting in new hydrants and removing old hydrants, making house connections and taking up old pipe in the City of Plattsburgh is awarded to W.A. Goodale and Co. of Schenectady.
