MORRISONVILLE -- The 61st-annual Clinton County Fair is under way at the fairgrounds in Morrisonville.

Gate admission is $7 for adults and free for kids age 11 and under. Parking is free.

Admission to grandstand events costs $2. The cost for a pit pass for the Street Legal Truck Pull is $5.

Today is Children's Day, with wristbands for Reithoffer Shows carnival rides, good all day, available for $17 with coupon and $18 without.

Here's today's schedule:

9 a.m.: 4-H Dairy Show, Denton Publications Cattle Barn; and 4-H Dressage, Horse Arena.

10 a.m.: Judging of small animals and FFA exhibits, Duprey's Feeds FFA Building.

Noon: Carnival rides start; and harness racing, Graymont Materials N.Y. Race Track, with free T-shirts for first 100 people who buy four racing programs, sponsored by Anna Zwieg. Free grandstand.

Noon to 4 p.m.: Just Us in the Stewart's Shops and Taylor Rental Gazebo.

1 p.m.: 4-H Horse Jumping in Horse Arena.

1, 3 and 6 p.m.: Pipsqueak's Party Time Clown Show, sponsored by Price Chopper, Children's Stage.

1:30 and 3:30 p.m.: Cops Care Program, Curtis Lumber Stage.

2, 5 and 7:30 p.m.: Masters of the Chainsaw Sculptors, sponsored by Paul Smith's College.

2, 5 and 8 p.m.: Granpa Cratchet Show, sponsored by Key R-D Trailer Sales.

2 p.m.: 4-H Miniature Horse classes.
